The Community Services Department organizes and hosts a variety of special events throughout the year for all ages and varying interests including parades, summer concerts, nature hikes, and other family-friendly events. “80s Flashback Tribute” featuring Flashpants, Boombox Heroes, and Pyromania

Join us for three show-stopping bands that will make you want to flash dance all night long! “Flashpants” is a Vegas-Style 80s Cover Band that combines 80s Dance music with audience interaction. “Boombox Heroes” is a HIGH ENERGY cover band specializing in the party and rock hits of the 80s. And bringing 80s rock to Lake Forest is “Pyromania”! Being called “The Next Best Thing to Def Leppard” is an honor that “Pyromania”: The Def Leppard Experience doesn’t take lightly. Fourteen years in the making, the band captures the music and the essence of a rock band that has sold over 100 million albums worldwide.

2017 National Night Out


National Night Out is a nationwide evening event where communities across the country band together to give crime a “going away party.” This event is fun, free, and festive, with themes based on safety and crime prevention. Neighborhood Watch Groups and businesses are encouraged to register for a booth at the event.

Annual Skatepark Summer Campout


Don’t miss out on the annual end-of-summer extravaganza with camping, skateboarding, movies, and activities including a midnight madness contest. Dinner, snacks and breakfast are included. Gates close at 10:00 p.m. and campers will not be permitted to leave until 9:00 a.m. the following morning.

“End of Summer Bash” featuring Common Sense, The Suffragettes, and The Kalama Brothers


With a SoCal background and a small beach town attitude “Common Sense” took their reggae-rock influences and created their own style.The “Suffragettes” are an all female cover band, playing songs from the 1970s to the hits of today. They cover many genres including, pop, rock, r&b, country and even a little Latin. The Kalama Brothers play a variety of instruments to recreate cover songs that work with all ages. Having just released their first Hawaiian CD, they are taking steps toward more groove and soul-rock vibes.
