October 4, 2016   Letter sent to adjacent Village Pond Park residents regarding renovation project timeline.
October 3, 2016   City issued a Request for Bid for the Village Pond Park renovation project.
August 27, 2015   Letter sent to adjacent Village Pond Park residents regarding passage of Wildlife Ordinance and requesting the community to assist with educational efforts.
April 21, 2015   Public hearing conducted to consider amending citation amounts associated with the Wildlife Ordinance.
April 16, 2015   City held a public hearing to consider whether Village Pond Park is at risk of being overcrowded by wildlife. A determination by the Parks and Recreation Commission that Village Pond Park is at risk of being overcrowded would enable the City to issue fines or criminal citations for violations of the Wildlife Ordinance.
March 17, 2015   City Council adopts Ordinance No. 271 relating to the feeding of wildlife.
March 3, 2015    City Council discussion regarding a proposed Ordinance prohibiting the feeding of wildlife in public places.
January 6, 2015   City Council discussion regarding potential Wildlife Ordinance.
November 18, 2014   City Council awarded a contract to Nuvis Landscape for Village Pond Park Final Design Services.
September 2, 2014   City Council approved the issuance of a Request for Proposal for Village Pond Park Final Design Services.
August 5, 2014   City Council approved the first amendment to the contract with Nuvis Landscape to extend the contract term and increase compensation.
August 5, 2014   City Council approved the Village Pond Park Conceptual Plan and authorized staff to prepare a Request for Proposal to develop construction Plans and Specifications for the renovation of the park.
November 21, 2013   Nuvis Landscape presented the Preliminary Plan to the Parks and Recreation Commission, which was ultimately endorsed by the Commission. Nine speakers attended the meeting.
November 19, 2013   Introduction of an Ordinance prohibiting the feeding of wildlife in public places presented to the City Council.
November 5, 2013   City Council consideration of an Ordinance prohibiting the feeding of wildlife in public places.
September 14, 2013   Second community workshop. Several design options were presented to the community.
July 20, 2013   First community workshop held to gather input regarding potential park improvements.
May 21, 2013   City Council awarded a contract to Nuvis Landscape for Village Pond Park Design Services. The firm was responsible for conducting workshops to engage the community to develop a Master Plan for proposed improvements.
March 5, 2013   City Council approved issuance of a Request for Proposal for Village Pond Park Design Services.
July 2012   Letters were sent to residents surrounding the park regarding subscription to a mailing list.
