Turning a New Leaf: Celebrate El Toro Road!

Join the City of Lake Forest Saturday, September 30, 11 AM to 2 PM at Rockfield Boulevard and El Toro Road as we celebrate the completion of the new gateway into Lake Forest – the beautiful Arbor on El Toro Road!

The free event will feature live music by the group “Open Wide,” games, and displays. Local restaurants will be providing samples of their outstanding cuisine. Taste the delicious food from the following restaurants:

  • Yogi’s Grill
  • Chipotle Mexican Grill
  • Thai Spice
  • Manila Foodmart
  • Avila’s El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant

Celebrate El Toro Road

At noon, the City Council will dedicate the new Arbor structures located at the corners of El Toro Road and Rockfield, and will unveil the beautiful leaf sculptures that adorn the arbor towers.

Parking for the event will be along Rockfield Boulevard and can be accessed via Los Alisos Boulevard.

Please note: Rockfield Boulevard between El Toro and Los Alisos will be closed on September 30, from 6 AM to 6 PM for this event. Goodwill Industries and Firestone Tire & Service Center will be open and can be accessed from Los Alisos. Please notify police services at the corner of Los Alisos and Rockfield that you are visiting Goodwill or Firestone and you will be let through the barricade.

Local residents who reside in the neighborhoods off the road closure area will also have access via Larkwood Lane.
